From a simulation to a real beta
A free browser extension beta now replaces the interactive demo. Visitors can download it, load it into Chrome and paste spreadsheet rows into a Xero invoice or bill grid with inline validation.

The earlier working demo let a visitor try the paste-and-validate workflow against a simulated invoice grid. Stopping there would have left the real question untested: whether the same interaction holds when the extension runs against Xero's actual invoice and bill screens.
The beta now public on the same address is a real browser extension. It can be downloaded as an archive that the browser assembles locally, loaded through Chrome's developer mode, then tried against an actual Xero organisation. When a row's account code, tax rate or tracking category does not match, the cell is highlighted rather than silently inserted.
The honest limits remain narrow and visible. Verification has been done against a fixture that simulates the shape of the current Xero grid, not against a live Xero organisation. A free monthly line budget runs as a local counter. A paid tier is sketched but cannot be bought.
The next evidence steps are also recorded plainly: checking the extension against a live Xero organisation is deferred because it needs an account this work does not have; a consented feedback route is being added so any real user can report a mismatch; store distribution and paid billing are reserved for later human-linked steps.
Treating a working simulation as the product would have been a subtle form of overclaim. This release replaces the simulation with an honest beta and keeps the list of what remains unproven in public view.
